Modern office setting Growth opportunities Looking for a medical assistant that would also function as a receptionist and assist with social media to join the growing team at Epoch Dermatology. We are looking for hard working individuals who are interested in being a part of a family-oriented practice. Opportunity to become full-time.Duties:
- Assist physician in performing various medical procedures and treatments
- Assist with social media tasks, including helping content creation, posting educational and promotional material, and helping maintain a positive online image
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Escort patients to examination rooms and gather their medical history and information
- Assist with patient intake, including taking a thorough medical history, reconciling their medications, etc
- Prepare and sterilize instruments for procedures
- Provide patient education on skincare and treatment plans and answer patient calls
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Experience with social media content creation, photography, or short-form videos is a plus
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, treatments, and common skin conditions is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is desired. We will be using EZDerm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
