Position Type:

Four-month contract, opportunity for extension

Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm

Pay:

$21.20 to $24.20 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities of the

Medical Assistant:

• Prepares exam rooms by disinfecting, stocking, and verifying appropriate medications are available
• Greet patients and assist them with signing in andpleting paperwork
• Answers iing phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner
• Assists and apanied patients to exam rooms
• Interviews patients and records information into the medical record
• Measures, collects, and records of patient vital signs
• Performs basic lab testing and other approved tests
• Prepares specimens for transportation to the lab
• Assists in examination and treatment of patients under clinician direction
• Places to follow-up phone calls to patients
• Performs other duties as required Qualifications of the

Medical Assistant:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Active Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Experience with vital signs and basic lab tests (urinalysis, pregnancy tests, etc.

Pay Details:
