The ideal candidate will provide essential medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality patient service within an outpatient office setting. The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Duties / Experience
1-2 years experience required . Collect and process lab specimens. Provide assistance to physician during examinations. Perform phlebotomy, manual Blood Pressure Administer EKG's Greets visitors, patients in a friendly professional manner and directs them appropriately. Maintains an efficient patient flow through the registration process and provides excellent customer service to patients/families. Effectively communicates problems, concerns, or issues to the Office Manager appropriately and promptly. Performs various clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, scanning, filing and mailings. Demonstrates flexibility with various work schedules. Demonstrates the ability to adequately follow downtime procedures. Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must have the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner. Knowledge of medical office and terminology preferred. Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm or 11:30am-7:30pm; Two Saturdays a month 8:30am-2:30pm (please do not apply if you can't work those hours) A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.
