Our healthcare team is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role focuses on patient intake, care coordination, medical documentation, and assisting providers while ensuring efficient patient flow and excellent patient service.

Position Offers:

Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Competitive pay: $20-$23/hour DOE Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Off (STO) Paid holidays Health benefits 401(k) retirement plan Stable weekday schedule with no weekends Supportive and collaborative clinical team environment

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for provider visits and assist with daily clinical flow Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts Communicate patient concerns and visit details to providers and clinical staff Coordinate follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing Obtain insurance authorizations for ordered procedures and testing Maintain clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms Support efficient clinic operations while delivering quality patient care

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician (PCT) experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with patient intake and medical documentation Knowledge of insurance authorization processes preferred
