Job Description
4 Days a week: Monday Clifton Park___Wednesday-Friday Queensbury New York Pain Management practice seeks a candidate with STRONG medical (NOT DENTAL) office skills and experience with simple patient care, such as vital signs and medications. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems a plus!.
Hours:
7:15/7:30- 3:00/3:15 may vary.Duties:
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.
- Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and assists with basic questions about procedures.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders with appropriate people; verifying receipt.
- Must have flexibility to accommodate the needs of the practice
- Check in and Check out patients on occasion
- Phone Support
- Other reception functions as needed
