Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistants for a local hospital in the Cancer Center and Dept. of Ophthalmology. of The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting medical staff in various clinical settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. The Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments. $25.00 per hour - day shift hours. No weekends or Holidays! Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology Experience in specialized area is a plus! Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Background and drug screen is required as well as BLS Certification -
