The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient service abilities, and fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively serve diverse patient populations. As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within outpatient, or emergency care settings. Your expertise in, hospital medicine, urgent care, and other specialties will contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare services in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring their comfort. Support physicians and healthcare providers with tasks including medication administration, specimen collection, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary. Communicate feedback and concerns to supervisor in a timely and professional manner; Maintain an open line of communication with providers, supervisors, and peers Document clinical notes meticulously using medical terminology and ICD coding for accurate record-keeping. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and supporting diverse patient needs across all specialties. Comply with HIPAA and safety procedures Experience Prior experience working in outpatient clinics, hospital medicine units, or urgent care Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Primary Care,centers is highly desirable. Demonstrated familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential. Experience with emergency medicine settings will be considered an asset. Assist with clinical assessments and procedures effectively. Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or specific specialties are a plus.
