: Medical Assistant
LOCATION
: 2123 Auburn Ave Cincinnati, OH 45219
SHIFT :
7:30am•4pm
CONTRACT
: 13 weeks
PAY RANGE
: $20/hr•$22/hr
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain patient flow; record vitals, medical history, and medications in EMR Prepare and update patient charts; obtain outside medical records as needed Refill and pre-authorize medications; coordinate with pharmacies and insurance Prepare and stock exam rooms; order and manage medical supplies Assist with EKGs, cardiac monitoring, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and other clinical tasks Handle patient calls, scheduling, check-in/check-out, and MyChart messages Ensure patient confidentiality, safety, and compliance with legal and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS 2-5
years of Medical Assistant experience, must have Urology experience Experience in various care settings (Primary Care, Specialty, EMT, etc.) Clinical skills: phlebotomy, EKGs, suture/stitch removal, splinting, etc. High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of a Medical Assistant program BLS certification
