Medical Assistant - Back office therapy | $17 per hour | Part-time | Immediate Start Job Overview The clinic is an accident and injury recovery clinic dedicated to helping patients heal from soft tissue injuries. We are looking for a high-energy Medical Assistant who can assist the provider in the Therapy Area (guiding patients through active rehabilitation exercises and passive modalities). This is a part-time position with an opportunity to transition to full-time. Hours (Part-time; schedule to be discussed)

Monday-Friday:

9AM-12PM; 2PM-6

PM Saturday:

9AM-12

PM Key Responsibilities Therapeutic Exercises:

Guide patients through their prescribed active rehab exercises and stretches under the supervision of the care provider.

Modalities:

Set up patients with electrical stimulation (TENS), hot/cold packs, and other passive modalities.

Patient Intake:

Room patients and update charts.

Qualifications Experience:

1+ years of experience in a medical office preferred.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to demonstrate exercises (stretching, resistance bands) and be on your feet.
