Medical Assistant (Male) Advanced Medical Services - 3.8 Cleveland, OH Job Details Full-time $15 - $25 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Vital signs Urgent care center experience Attention to detail Urgent care Urine sample collection Full Job Description Advanced Medical Services, an occupational health clinic in Parma, Ohio, is hiring a Male Medical Assistant to support our clinical team with patient care, occupational health services, and drug testing procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment. Because this position includes directly observed drug screen collections for male patients , a male Medical Assistant is needed to perform same-gender observed collections in accordance with drug testing protocols and patient privacy requirements. Responsibilities Assist providers and clinical staff with occupational health exams and patient visits Perform drug screen collections, including observed collections when required Complete breath alcohol testing, if trained or certified Take and record patient vitals Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Accurately document patient information and testing details Assist with DOT and non-DOT occupational health services Follow clinic procedures, confidentiality standards, and compliance requirements Provide a professional and respectful experience for patients and employers Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred Occupational health, urgent care, or drug testing experience is a plus Must be comfortable performing observed drug screen collections for male patients Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately Professional communication skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive situations respectfully Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities may be available.
