Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols in hospital or trauma center settings. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in settings such as outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, or emergency departments; experience with Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care. Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and appointment scheduling. Familiarity with ICD coding standards and medical-surgical procedures across various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or urgent care. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with procedures like X-ray imaging or OR procedures, and supporting inpatient or outpatient care workflows. Excellent communication skills focused on delivering compassionate patient service while effectively supporting healthcare teams in high-pressure environments. Embrace this opportunity to advance your career as a Medical Assistant in a vibrant healthcare setting dedicated to making a difference! I am looking to hire an exceptional, caring, empathetic, honest person to assist me in the day-to-day activities of my practice. The key attributes required include the ability to see a solution to a problem weighing all the obstacles and determining the best course of action. You are able to evaluate and objectively find different solutions and develop the pros and cons of your options and provide me with a well-thought-out solution without having to be told what to do. Obviously, you will be given an extraordinary amount of freedom to work independently, but this requires a tremendous amount of loyalty and commitment to the goals I have established. You must be teachable and coachable and have a strong moral compass. You will be interacting with many types of people representing all walks of life. You must be a self-starter and be able to have enough stamina and grit to overcome adversity, wherever it appears. You must possess critical thinking skills and be able to give me honest but polite feedback in any of my decisions. I expect you to tell me the truth and not be afraid of disagreeing with me without being disagreeable. I am looking for a person that has my back. You must have an extraordinary amount of self-esteem in order to execute your duties without second guessing your decisions. You must be an honest and moral person who judges little and has compassion for all. You must be able to see the strengths and weaknesses of all staff members you interact with and provide an exemplary example to all who observe you. You must be proactive and not reactive in your duties. You need to recognize problems and find solutions before they manifest themselves. You must be open-minded to always learn and never think that you know it all. Be humble but confident. Empathetic but decisive. Slow to anger and quick to apologize.
