Medical Assistant

Come join our small family-oriented Dublin family practice! We have one physician but are adding another this summer. We are looking for a long-term employment fit to join our "family." Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in a small concierge-type setting
• Crosstrain to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining electronic patient records for vacation coverage
• Room patients, Take vital signs and record patient information
• Get to know patients on a personal level and take initiative to go above and beyond in providing top-level care.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform blood draws and basic laboratory tests; collect specimens for testing
• Work as a team player to provide an excellent, professional environment for all

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; dependable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in medical terminology, computer skills and HIPAA compliance
• Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments
• Ability to draw blood
