Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant/Therapy Assistant to join our chiropractic and physical therapy practice. We are a Chiropractic office specializing in Accident Injury treatments, Workplace injuries, and massage and physical therapy. We are looking for someone who is clinically oriented, organized, with a hands-on approach to patient care. Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented attitude, and ability to multi-task are essential to this role. A Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Personal Training certificate is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting patients with advanced functional exercise programs, core stabilization programs, post-surgical rehabilitation, and performance training. Will also assist in maintaining the dynamic and patient flow during the treatment by communicating properly with other staff. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' well-being while working in a dynamic clinic environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical condition, including physiology and anatomy considerations Document exam findings in a clinical EHR program Assist providers in setting up patients for physical therapy exercises. Follow post-operative guidelines Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, safety protocols, and healthy lifestyle habits Maintain accurate records of client progress and adapt programs as needed for optimal results Skills Strong knowledge of clinical work environments Excellent teaching skills in physical education or fitness instruction Exceptional communication skills for engaging patients and motivating them toward Excellent documentation skills and experience with EHR. Certification as a Medical Assistant or Personal Trainer with a focus on clinical applications is preferred but not required This role is ideal for passionate fitness professionals committed to improving clients' health outcomes through expert guidance, personalized programs, and motivational coaching.
Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Clinic Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm. Fridays 9am-12pm No evenings, no weekends!
Pay Range:
$17-18 per hour based on experience. Recognizes, manages and rehabilitates injuries . Provides techniques for prevention of injuries.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Physical Requirements:
Requires full body motion including handling and lifting up to 45 pounds. Manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
