  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a professional, motivated, and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing aesthetic and wellness practice.
This individual will work closely alongside Dr. Hastings and our providers assisting with aesthetic procedures, patient preparation, clinical organization, and overall patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in aesthetic medicine, wellness, skincare, and preventative health, and who thrives in a polished, fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The position will involve both clinical and operational support and is expected to evolve as the practice continues to expand. We are looking for someone who is dependable, highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to grow within a modern aesthetic practice focused on excellence and elevated patient care. About Cimarron Aesthetics Cimarron Aesthetics was founded with a clear mission: deliver transformative aesthetic results through expert care in an environment where patients feel genuinely valued. Our practice is led by Matthew Hastings, DMSc, PA-C, who brings over 15 years of dermatology experience, including clinical instruction at UPMC's Department of Dermatology. Dr. Hastings has served as Lead Clinical Trainer and Chief Clinical Trainer for multiple practices and has a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation of aesthetic providers. We take a global consultation approach, meaning we do not just address the immediate concern. We look at the whole picture and develop comprehensive treatment plans that evolve with our patients over time. Our collaborative relationship with Carolyn Morrison, DO, ensures proper medical oversight while giving our providers autonomy to practice at the top of their license. Duties Assist Dr. Hastings and providers during aesthetic and wellness procedures Prepare treatment rooms, procedure trays, supplies, and equipment Escort and prepare patients for treatments and consultations Obtain patient histories, vital signs, photographs, and documentation as appropriate Assist with maintaining cleanliness, sterilization, and organization of clinical areas Support patient flow and ensure a smooth, welcoming patient experience Educate patients on basic pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation Assist with inventory management and stocking of medical supplies Support front and back office workflow as needed Adapt to additional responsibilities as the role and practice continue to grow Collaborate closely with providers and staff to support daily workflow and patient satisfaction Contribute to a collegial environment where knowledge sharing is the norm Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, med spa, or wellness medicine preferred but not required Strong interest in aesthetic medicine, skincare, and wellness Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and polished demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment EMR experience preferred Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods while performing procedures Fine motor skills and manual dexterity required Visual acuity to assess vital signs and prepare trays and measurements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds What We Offer We believe in investing in our team.
