Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Records/Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team. This vital role involves managing medical records with precision, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth operations within our healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to input, retrieve, and organize patient information efficiently. Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating patient flow, and managing administrative correspondence. Ensure proper documentation of medical procedures, treatments, and resident interactions with attention to detail. Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate seamless communication and record updates. Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive patient information at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical records management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and document clinical information. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, residents, and physician's offices. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
