Job Description

Job Summary Medical Assistant desired, where your skills and passion for patient care will shine! In this vital role, you will support our healthcare provider in delivering exceptional patient services in our office. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to make a difference in patients' lives, we want to hear from you! What you'll do Assist the doctor gathering medical histories, recording vital signs, and assisting in procedures. Administer medications as directed by physician and ensure accurate documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Provide medical administrative support by scheduling/rescheduling patients. Working alternate days at the reception desk checking in/checking out patients, managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and collecting patient copays/balances. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and address any questions or concerns after consulting with our physician. Collaborate with other physicians for patient care by requesting or supplying lab results, office visit notes, radiology records. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols. Basic qualifications Experience as a Medical Assistant or certification from an accredited program. Knowledge of medical terminology, computer skills. Ability to problem solve. Professional and friendly demeanor. The ability to work with other staff members. Preferred qualifications 2 years experience in a medical office. Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient record management. Previous reception desk experience. Excellent spelling and typing skills. Our benefits include:
Schedule of a 4 day work week and when necessary to open a 5th day. No nights or weekends. Earned time off begins on the first day of employment.
