As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic while delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Escort patients, take vitals, and prepare examination rooms. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Perform basic medical procedures and document patient information. Schedule appointments, manage inquiries, and maintain electronic medical records. Coordinate referrals and assist with patient paperwork. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and stocking of supplies. Assist with medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Provide educational materials and guidance on healthcare topics. Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Physical Requirements:
Walking/Standing Sitting Lifting Bending/Crouching/Stooping Must be able to speak and write English in a legible and comprehensible manner. Must be able to move about sufficiently to respond to life threatening emergencies including performing CPR and assisting with the evacuation of patient(s) during emergency situations.
