Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. More than 3,500 employees, 400 multi-specialty physicians, and over 100 volunteers have helped to support the hospital in delivering quality, patient-focused care to the Texoma region for over 50 years. The Medical Assistant - Madill Oklahoma is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties, which include a ssisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interviewing patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), venipuncture, and procedures as directed by the physician within the scope of practice in ­­­­­the State. Documentation is recorded in the Electronic Medical Record in accordance with IPM guideline. Prepares treatment rooms for the examination of patients. Assists in covering the front desk as required.
