Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, administrative support, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures. Perform vital sign assessments and accurately document patient information. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Prior authorizations for various medical procedures and diagnoses. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Support physician and rn by preparing patients for examinations and assisting with follow-up care. Injections, phlebotomy and assisting with minor procedures. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in patient care techniques. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
