Medical Assistant Urgent Care

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in urgent care. This position requires a compassionate individual with a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, who is committed to enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

Hours:

10:45AM-9:00PM Monday thru Thursday, 7:45AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday. This is a full-time position, scheduled 30-40 hours per week. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Occasional travel between our 3 locations. Skills Proficiency in medical terminology. Experience with EHR systems for efficient patient documentation. Familiarity with vital signs assessment and medication administration protocols. Strong patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
