As a Medical Assistant , you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the leadership team of your facility to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as part of the intake team to ensure clients are seen promptly. Responsible for receiving client information, checking client documentation and ensuring information is complete.
Clinical Phlebotomy:
Includes but is not limited to checking blood pressure, height and weight on a daily basis. Submitting all orders for drug screenings and testing. Documentation of all visits from visitors including urine screens, blood screens, etc. Facilitate an atmosphere of safety and comfort for staff and residents. Communicate all concerns regarding the care of the residents to the leadership team. Assist in all areas of the facility including administration, treatment programming and reception. Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
NATIONAL AND REGIONAL EXPECTATIONS
You are eligible for these benefits if you are: At least 21 years old Have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent. Are enrolled in or completed an accredited medical assistant program (ASA or ASWA). AMAP (American Medical Association) AIM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) NACAM (National Association of Clinical Assessors) accredited program.
