Our Fertility Center of Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) who brings skill, heart, and professionalism to the team. About the
Role:
This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our Fertility Center location in Eugene, OR. The position has an expectation of 40hrs per week with varied days, and we are proud to offer a great benefits package. Our Medical Assistant (non-certified) pay range is $19.98 - $24.08 and a Certified Medical Assistant is $22.03 - $26.55.
What will you do:
Prepares patient for examinations, procedures, and treatments by obtaining vital signs; obtaining, evaluating, and recording patient history; and updating medication and immunization records. Prepares and maintains examination and treatment areas, ensuring adequate inventories of supplies and equipment to maintain efficient patient flow. Assists with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Prepare and administer injections and immunizations as directed by physician/provider. Receives, organizes, prioritizes, stores, and maintains transmittable information utilizing electronic technology. Collects and process specimens, screen and follow up on test results. Performs CLIA-waived tests. Performs instrument sterilization. Assists with maintaining medical supplies and onsite inventory. Maintains and updates patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Requirements:
What do you need to bring to the role:
Education/Experience:
Minimum of one year of clinical support experience with experience in obtaining accurate patient vitals, medical injections, and assisting with procedures/NSTs OR a Medical Assistant Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required.
