This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing high-level administrative support and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be a vital point of contact for both clients and staff, possessing strong computer literacy and experience in fast-paced front desk operations.
Position Details Employment Status:
Permanent Full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday.
Equipment:
Our clinic utilizes Apple desktops, iPads, and laptops. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide consistent and efficient patient census management. Maintain a positive and professional manner to ensure patients receive necessary care. Greet patients in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. Manage patient check-in/check-out processes and review digital intakes. Verify and update patient records within the EHR system (Prompt). Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule appointments for multiple providers. Verify insurance benefits and submit initial prior authorizations. Receive patient payments and issue accurate receipts. Direct phone calls and record detailed messages. Reconcile daily cash logs for co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles. Prepare patient records and schedules for the following business day. Monitor inventory and manage office supply ordering.
Required Experience and Skills Professional Background:
Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience.
Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and office management procedures.
Communication:
Exceptional customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
Operational Skills:
Ability to prioritize work in a busy environment and exercise initiative in problem-solving.
Adaptability:
Must have a strong aptitude to learn and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
