At Oregon Rheumatology, our singular goal is to help our patients live their most functional and fulfilling lives. Our clinic is a fast-paced medical practice looking to fill a full-time, long-term, medical assistant position. As a private small business, we are able to develop close relationships with both our patients and coworkers. Candidate must have strong phlebotomy skills, capable of prioritizing tasks, have a stellar attendance record and willingness to work as part of a team.
Pay Rate:
$23-27 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE and/or
CERTIFICATION
Bilingual Spanish speakers receive pay differential. Prefer credentialed or certified Medical Assistant, e.g., CMA (AAMA), RMA, NCMA.
Skills/Personal:
- Experience in phlebotomy.

Qualifications:
Prefer 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, (Knowledgeable in Rheumatology is a plus). Proficiency with phlebotomy Prefer credentialed or certified Medical Assistant, e.g., CMA (AAMA), RMA, NCMA CPR/ First Aid certification Competent in all aspects of MA clinical responsibilities Ability to manage patient flow of up to 20 patients per day to maximize provider's efficiency Ability to coordinate patient flow Competent, proficient with windows based EMR software Command of medical terminology and common medical abbreviation.
