Full-Time Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant at Klamath Health Partnership! Are you a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant with at least one year of experience in a family practice setting? At Klamath Health Partnership (KHP), we're looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our mission of providing accessible, patient-centered care to the Klamath Basin community. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Interviewing patients and recording vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) Preparing treatment rooms and assisting providers during exams and procedures Administering injections, performing routine lab tests, and operating diagnostic equipment (e.g., EKG) Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilizing instruments Scheduling tests and coordinating with other medical departments Participating in quality assurance and compliance efforts Supporting a culture of safety, confidentiality, and teamwork What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; plus one year of Medical Assistant experience in a family practice setting CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Ability to calculate drug dosages and interpret clinical instructions Flexibility to work across locations and shifts Bilingual/bicultural skills strongly preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement Plan Inclusive, team-oriented culture with opportunities for growth Physical Requirements & Accommodations This role requires the following, with or without reasonable accommodations: Clear verbal communication and active listening Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands Occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 lbs.
