We are full service podiatry clinic with 5 doctors. We are currently looking for one medical assistant to work in our Lake Oswego office and must be willing to go to Canby office. You will get the opportunity to assist the doctor for in-office procedures as well as foot & ankle surgeries in our surgery suite.

Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Take patient vital signs and record medical history
• Prepare injections and assist in procedures as directed by healthcare providers
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood draws
• Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health information
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
• Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Prefer x-ray limited license but will consider candidates without, also prefer phlebotomy experience.
