Duties Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures Ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards in the facility Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check-in process Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and care Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their comfort Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately by documenting patient histories, diagnoses (ICD coding), treatment plans, and progress notes Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by sterilizing equipment and managing medical supplies efficiently Qualifications Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine environments Knowledge of procedures, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medical terminology is highly desirable Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions including Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in high-pressure situations Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately and assist with medication administration when needed Join us in a team that values energetic engagement and transparent communication.
