CMA Job Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Minimum of 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting; correctional experience is a plus COVID Vaccine is required Recent TB Test or Chest X-Ray Clear criminal background check(s) and drug screening Reliable transportation and smartphone Certified Medical Assistant / CMA Responsibilities Provide medical administrative support in a corrections facility medical clinic, ensuring accurate patient intake and management of electronic health records (EHR). Administer basic life support (BLS) as needed and perform vital sign assessments. Assist with patient care, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and physiology. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols while supporting various medical procedures.
