- A Growing Healthcare Leader PentaHealth / Tandigm Physician Services, a leading physician-owned practice with nine locations across Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties, is seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time CMA to join our team at our Colonial Family Practice, Coatesville, PA location.

Certified Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Support:
Provide direct patient care, including administering injections, performing EKGs, assisting with gynecological exams, and other treatments as directed by physicians. Accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, and reasons for visits. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. Maintain meticulous records of sample medications and administer medications according to provider orders and practice protocols. Triage and respond to patient communications promptly and professionally, adhering to practice policies. Educate and encourage patients on preventative health measures.Pre-Visit Planning & Care Coordination:
Conduct thorough pre-visit planning by reviewing patient charts, including recent test results and correspondence, to optimize appointment efficiency. Collaborate with physicians to address incomplete patient tests, consults, or orders prior to patient visits. Coordinate patient care with disease management or care management programs. Assist with scheduling tests and treatments, pre-certifying patients for hospital care/procedures, and processing referrals.Clinical & Administrative Duties:
Maintain and stock exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including electronic health records (EHR). Compile and organize technical and statistical data for reports and records. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development activities and maintain relevant professional affiliations. Maintain quality measure standards.Team Collaboration & Communication:
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with physicians, medical staff, and patients. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, both verbally and in writing. Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor with staff, providers, patients, and visitors. Valid and current MA Certification license in PA. Minimum of one year of experience in a physician's office or equivalent healthcare setting. Proficiency in taking vital signs, administering injections, and performing other clinical procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, and clinical procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. Ability to think critically and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment.
