Responsibilities Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for part-time day shift (Friday 8a - 4p, Saturday and Sunday 8:30a - 12:30p) to support our Doylestown, PA campus. This position requires an every weekend commitment.
The Medical Assistant position:
Provides assistance to pediatrician/nurse practitioners on daily sick call rounds for inpatient and RTF residents. Improves the patient experience through daily patient interaction, clerical support, ongoing projects, and additional duties as needed. Supports a variety of clerical functions including calls, documentation, scanning, etc. Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12-acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.
Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/AAMA). High School diploma required.
