We offer behavioral healthcare services - psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. - that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.
Summary:
Pyramid Healthcare at East Stroudsburg is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment options for adults with Substance Use Disorders. Our client-centered approach positions us as a leader in addiction treatment in Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team of behavioral healthcare professionals in aiding clients on their recovery journey.

420 Supreme Court East Stroudsburg, PA 18302
Shift:
3:00pm - 11:00pm
Pay:
$16/hr before shift differentials.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and support medical staff with documentation and filing. Complete medical records and assist with client admissions and consent processes. Obtain vital signs and conduct urine screens, documenting outcomes for medical team review. Complete lab requisitions on admission and as needed, and monitor outcomes with the medical team. Create and distribute client packets and maintain a safe physical environment. Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and document changes to client status. Support the prior authorization and medication ordering process as needed. Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals for clients as directed. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant degree/certification preferred but not required. Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health settings. Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations, DDAP, and CARF. General office skills and organizational ability.
