Position Summary The Medical Assistant / Receptionist serves as an important member of the Whole Health team and helps create an outstanding patient experience from check-in through clinical care and follow-up. Primary Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and positivity
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with patient questions
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate provider schedules
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
  • Escort and room patients for appointments
  • Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and updates
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
  • Assist physicians and providers with procedures and patient care needs
  • Document information accurately within the EMR system
  • Support patient education initiatives and workflow processes Qualifications
  • Previous medical office, receptionist, or medical assistant experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
