Medical / Ophthalmic Assistant - Full TIme Retina Care Group, Inc - 5.0 Erie, PA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Ophthalmology Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures Medical scheduling Managing patient records Full Job Description Under direction of supervisor or physician receives and prepares patients for examination or treatment in high-volume and fast-paced retina-specialty ophthalmology setting. Documents patient information in the patient electronic medical record. Assists with procedures in office. Is COA certified or has the ability and drive to achieve COA certification within 1 year of hire. Potential to become certified in surgical assisting if interested. Has interest in learning about this specialty and potential to increase responsibilities over time. Assists in scheduling, insurance and authorizations, and other administrative duties when not in clinical workflow, as assigned. Salary based on experience, education and skill set. On job-training provided. Benefits for full-time employees. Multiple office locations. Must be willing to travel up to 50% to other locations to see patients. Mileage reimbursed.
