SUMMARY OF JOB

Assists in the performance of autopsy and surgical pathology services. Works independently performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance and completion of autopsies, and gross examination and/or preparation of surgical pathology specimens under the general supervision of a pathologist.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

B.S. or M.S. degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program. Certification by the American Association of Pathologist Assistants.
