Medical Assistant Suburban Urologic Associates is a Monroeville, PA-based, private practice that specializes urology care in adults. We are a team of physicians, physician assistants, nurses and medical assistants who work together to provide our patients with the best possible care. Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a reliable and attentive Medical Assistant who is comfortable working with patients with different urologic diagnoses. Duties include assisting doctors with patient exams and procedures, as well as patient scheduling and chart preparation. This position requires an individual who is ready to quickly learn and work with other Medical assistants, Phyician Assistants and Physicians. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, be open to feedback, and be able to work well with others. This position requires travel from Monroeville to Jefferson Hospital (approximately 20-25% of work week).

Duties Include:

Rooming patients and taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc. Laboratory skills including urinalysis Setting up rooms appropriately for clinical procedures including sterile field technique and instrument handling Assisting physicians with all clinical procedures/exams Administer medications Ensure all instruments are cleaned and sterilized/disinfected Stocking and cleaning clinical areas appropriately Scheduling appointments; prepping charts Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Experience:

•Proven experience as a medical assistant required

Example:

Monday through Thursdays shifts can start at 7:30am, 8am, 8:30am. Friday shifts are 7:30-4pm.
