Freedom Recruiting has an opening for a medical assistant at an independent, physician owned medical practice in the nursing department.Location :
Palmyra PA, on-siteSchedule :
Full-time, 40 hours /week with rotating shifts & rotatingSaturday's Compensation :
Sign on bonus + hourly rate based upon experienceBenefits :

Reporting to the nursing supervisor, working directly in patient care performing duties within the scope of practice for a medical assistant.- Must have certificate/diploma from accredited MA training
Responsibilities :
- Hands on patient care → Vitals and testing including but not limited to EKG's, spirometry, phlebotomy and lab cultures
- Injections
- Assisting physician during exams when needed
- Daily use of EMR, reviewing & updating patient information
- Organize, clean & restock exam rooms
Requirements:
- Must have certificate/diploma from accredited MA training
