Job Description

Overview Society Hill Pediatrics is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy pediatric primary care practice in Center City Philadelphia. We are looking for a team player who enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pediatric patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for young patients and their families. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment where your expertise will directly contribute to improving children's health outcomes. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits. Perform venipuncture and blood draws. Administer routine childhood immunizations Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, administering medications, and assisting with procedures specific to pediatric care. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and offering reassurance to young patients and their families. Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Qualifications Required:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Minimum of 2 years of pediatric medical assistant experience Minimum of 2 years of experience using EMR systems Minimum of 2years of experience obtaining vital signs Experence performing blood draws (venipuncture) Experience administering routine childhood immunizations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced pediatric practice
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
