Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to join our medical management company. We are an open space, team centered company without in person patient contact. Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive patient information.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems (ChiroTouch) to input and retrieve patient data.
  • Collaborate with other administrative and billing staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the medical office.
  • Assist Billing Manager with special projects
Requirements Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
