Job Responsibilities:
Escort patients to and from the exam/procedure rooms Collect urine specimens at each visit, and process according to visit guidelines. Record patient information such as vital signs, height and weight and changes in medical history at each appointment. Medication Reconciliation in EMR Communicate to providers using the EMR to change the status of the room patients are assigned and do verbal handoff to providers on patient status prior to the visit. Assist providers with minor procedures. Collecting and updating patient HX and medical records. Clean, stock and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments. Work in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the office. Assist the office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed Administer medications under the supervision and direction of the provider. Prepares equipment for sterilization. Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice. Always practice good customer service in all situations. Occasional travel between offices is required for cross coverage of our Practice locations. Hourly rate $18 and up depending on experience
