Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operations within our medical practice, providing exceptional patient service and administrative support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process. Manage patient intake, including collecting personal information and medical history. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits, including follow-up care. Handle patient phone calls, provide information, and relay messages to the appropriate healthcare team members. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring all information is up-yo-date and complete. Collect and enter insurance information. Document vital signs and assist in basic patient care when necessary. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. Skills Proficient in medical administrative support with knowledge of medical terminology. Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with EHR systems for effective record management. Experience in hospital settings or clinics preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills to provide outstanding patient service. Knowledge of vital signs assessment and intake procedures.
