Job Description

Job Overview To provide internal support by addressing administrative. Will be expected to answer phones and enter patient information into billing system along with other admin tasks. Employee will follow existing working procedures and be responsible for the below tasks: Responsibilities Therabill Navigate client files Uploading paperwork Custom field information Entering client information
  • Phone Calls Admin member will be able to explain the process and dialogue on intakes Able to appropriately direct calls Answering Phones Exhibit polite and professional communication over the phone
  • Scheduling Clients Meetings required (separate for Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy)
  • work collaborativley with Peer Projects and Therapy from the Heart teams to schedule clients.
General understanding of clinician schedules Communicate with clinicians and families, in collaboration with scheduling team regarding schedule changes, cancellations, holidays, etc. Entering schedules in Therabill system accurately Google Drive/Electronic filing system Understanding of documentation that we send to families to complete Filing Help ensure office/waiting room areas are clean, organized and an overall pleasant setting. This includes daily tidying and vacuuming in collaboration with team. Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to computerize patient information accurately
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience in customer service is beneficial
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures
