Position Overview:
The CMA supports the Multicultural Counseling program by assisting Mental Health Prescribers and coordinating care for outpatient behavioral health clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Take vitals and prepare clients for appointments
  • Assist with telehealth sessions and maintain accurate records
  • Process prescription refill requests with pharmacies
  • Coordinate transportation and interpretation services Schedule medication management appointments and referrals
  • Collect and share hospital discharge documentation Requirements
  • 1+ year of healthcare experience required
  • Behavioral health experience required
  • Active CMA certification through AAMA required at start
  • High school diploma or equivalent
