Full-Time | Hybrid About Aetos Healthcare Aetos Healthcare is a physician-led healthcare company providing Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), and Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) services to physician practices across the United States. Position Summary Aetos Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to serve as an RPM Coordinator. This hybrid role combines remote work with periodic in-office responsibilities and focuses on patient engagement, device coordination, and ongoing support for chronic disease management programs. Responsibilities Enroll eligible patients into physician-directed RPM programs. Obtain and document patient consent. Educate patients on the use of blood pressure monitors, glucometers, pulse oximeters, and weight scales. Contact patients regularly to encourage compliance and improve device usage. Monitor transmitted readings and promptly escalate abnormal values to the supervising nurse or physician according to established protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately in the RPM platform and EMR. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and billing teams. Track monthly patient engagement activities and maintain program compliance. Assist with device inventory, shipping, and troubleshooting. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred. Minimum one year of experience in a physician office, primary care, cardiology, or care coordination setting. Excellent communication and patient engagement skills. Comfortable working with EMRs and healthcare software. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. RPM or CCM experience preferred but not required. Important Note This position does not perform nursing assessments, create care plans, or make independent clinical decisions. All activities are performed under physician supervision. Schedule Monday through Friday Hybrid work arrangement Availability during Eastern Time business hours preferred Compensation Starting salary: $18-$22 per hour , depending on experience and certification.
