Administer medications/immunizations, injections as directed Respond to general patient inquiries regarding treatment and clinic policies and procedures. Coordinate patient care with outside health agencies. May complete general administrative duties as assigned including; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Disability and Return to Work forms, Electronic Medical Record in-basket messages, etc. Complete other clinical and non-clinical duties as assigned. Required Qualifications• High school diploma or GED. Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR current enrollment in, or completion of coursework in a healthcare professional program (e.g., medical school, PA program, nursing program, or related clinical training) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (1 - 3 years). Demonstrated knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care, and basic medical terminology. Desired Qualifications• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or (RMA). Experience working within a large complex health care setting. Familiarity with electronic medical records system. Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work Schedule Full Time hours, 40 hours per week, weekday schedule will vary depending on location/clinic. This shift requires a 11a - 7:30p shift at least 2 days per week. May be occasional weekends.
