Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our client's team. The primary responsibilities include covering both front and back office duties, managing patient load efficiently, and ensuring high-quality care. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations within the healthcare practice. Key Responsibilities Comfortably cover both front and back office duties. Manage daily patient intake of 25+ patients. Perform back office duties including taking vitals, patient intake, and chart preparation. Administer vaccines, injections, and conduct spirometry and EKG tests. Perform point of care testing such as Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, etc. Execute phlebotomy tasks, ensuring understanding of required tubes for specific diagnoses. Qualifications Must possess at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience. Experience in primary care is preferable. Phlebotomy skills are highly desirable. Skills Proficiency in phlebotomy and primary care tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent multitasking abilities and ability to work under pressure. Additional Requirements Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
