Job Description
You do not need to be certified. We are a busy pain management practice looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for our Beaufort, SC location. This position offers room for growth and paid training. As a Medical Assistant you will provide support to our medical providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and every other Friday 8am-1pm. No weekends. This requires travel Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history in the medical chart Follow up on requested records and orders Educate patients on provider orders Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills
