Job Description

Kraemer Women's Care is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to add to our team. The Medical Assistant is responsible for administrative and clinical task such as maintaining patient records, preparing patient and rooms for examination, aiding physicians with exams and other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and/or Provider.
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Experience:
Previous medical assistant experience is required. Strongly prefer OB/GYN clinic experience. Experience in EPIC is also preferred.
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Provides a warm welcome and fond farewell to each patient Prepares patients for examination, take vitals, and record patient's health history Prepares equipment and examination rooms and clean rooms Collects and process specimens in a timely manner Assists provider with exam, treatment, and orders as directed Ensures all patient information is documented in the EMR accurately and timely Prepares all documents needed for DHEC and any other regulatory agency Complies with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook Other duties as assigned
