Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support. The Medical Assistant will assist healthcare professionals in delivering effective patient care while ensuring a smooth operation within the clinic. Duties Assist with patient intake, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by ensuring they are comfortable and informed. Support healthcare providers during examinations and treatments by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Assist with medical-surgical procedures. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic systems and regulations. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure efficient clinic operations. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to dermatology. Experience in patient care settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
