Job Description

Full time certified medical assistant needed to work with the doctor and PA for clinical and surgical patients. Fast paced office with opportunity to be trained on the job. Medical experience is a huge plus. Knowledge of ModMed EMA is a bonus! Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am - 12:00 pm. PTO for vacation (10 days) and sick time (7 days) Paid Holidays. Pay is based on experience.
Position involves:
Working closely with the physician during excisions, clinical visits, biopsy and working around blood Scheduling procedures Notifing patients of biopsy results Completing prior authorizations Cleaning and sterilizing instruments using an ultrasonic and autoclave Stocking lab and exam rooms Completing all required tasks with assigned patients Coordinating new start biologic prescriptions Obtaining and charting complete medical and surgical history Scribing for providers Please include 3 professional references with your resume or bring them with for an in person interview. Please also be prepared to bring proof of certification.
