The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our medical facility. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly in settings such as Geriatrics, Level I and II Trauma Centers, and Hospital Medicine. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks including taking vital signs, Learning skills to do EEG's and NCS Provide medical administrative support by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance documentation. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to enhance the overall patient experience. Document patient information accurately in electronic health record systems. Float between our Mount Pleasant and Goose Creek offices. Skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Knowledge of medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling and insurance processing. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on patient service. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for accurate documentation and data management.
